About the role

This is a combined role for you who are an accounting consultant and want to take on greater responsibility. You will be the client responsible accounting consultant focusing on year-end closing while also providing close support to the CEO in daily operations to ensure effective and well-functioning office routines.

Accounting Consultant, Client Responsibility with Focus on Year-End Closing

You will work independently as the client responsible for a number of clients, focusing on:

• Year-end closing, annual reports, and tax returns
• Quality assurance, analysis, and reporting
• Client contact, consulting, and follow-up

For those who wish, the position may also include ongoing accounting assignments, but the main focus is on year-end closing and client responsibility.

Office Manager, Operational Responsibility

As the office manager, you are responsible for driving the office's issues, ensuring that decisions and improvements are implemented. Together with team leaders, you will also coordinate the work to ensure that our deliveries to clients are timely. The work also involves close collaboration with the company's CEO.

Examples of tasks include:

• Follow up and develop daily routines in the office
• Coordinate and prioritize tasks together with team leaders
• Keep track of timelines, deadlines, and resource status related to client portfolios and deadlines
• Contribute to structure in routines, checklists, and working methods (especially related to digitalization/effectiveness)
• Be a close support to employees when needed in subject matters
• Contribute to the start-up of new assignments and onboarding of new employees, as well as ensure that handovers work internally

The role can develop over time and be adapted to your strengths.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is confident in qualified accounting work and wants to take the next step in a firm environment where quality and structure are central. You have likely worked several years as an accounting consultant at a firm or as an accounting economist with broad responsibility.

We would like you to have:

• Extensive experience in year-end closing, tax returns, and client responsibility
• Good system proficiency from accounting and year-end closing programs
• Strong understanding of accounting flows and what is required for quality in delivery

Authorization via SRF or FAR is meritorious, but not a requirement. We can offer continued membership with SRF.
